Aussie – a dealer slang for the Australian dollar. The term Aussie, in a post- Grassbian context, was used by some Australians as opposition to cultural separatism and to identify people from traditional cultural group. The name started to be internationally used during the 2005 Cronulla riots, because of some t-shirts with embodied Australian flag and inscriptions „100% Aussie Pride”. This term differentiated white Australians from the Middle Eastern Australians, or the Lebanese.
