After Hour Tradingthis is a trading of particular share or index that take place after the hour of conclusion of the formal session. An example of such stock trading are some of the major exchanges like the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock market.

An interesting fact is that the usual after-hours trading abbreviation, seen on the message boards is AH. Some people make jokes with this and refer these initials with „amateur hour”, because most of the investors who trade during that time are mostly small retail traders, not institutional ones, and their actions oftentimes do not influence on the trading conditions during the next morning.
